Mykonos is the retail paradise with multiple upscale boutiques and more accessible ones. The paved streets are a true maze, easy to get lost and turn shopping into an adventure among the jewelery stores, local fashion style boutiques and souvenirs (locally made crafts). The locals are keeping their door upon until midnight.
Art lovers will also love the galleries displaying Greek artists. If you get lost by the alleys and dead ends, head to the sea. The sea front is an easier way and calmer one.
Apart from city center shopping, upscale resorts offer original boutiques to compete with the high quality of downtown.

Little Venice & the windmills:
One of the most romantic place to watch the sunset. A little bit of history, the name is due to the fact that Mykonos was one of the main stops on the trade route between Venice and Asia.
The surroundings are elegant with colorful old houses situated on the edge of the sea. Little Venice is today one of the most photographed tourist place in Europe. Planty of entertainment have been created around this charming part of the city like sunset bars, clubs and art galleries.
From little Venice, you can see the hundread of years old windmills, an emblematic features of Mykonos landscape. They were primarily used for agricultural products but are no longer operational now. However, they are a symbol of the city and some have been turn into museums. Sunset is the best time to go there for an outstanding view over the sea.
Diving:
Diving in Mykonos means diving into the ancient Greek history as old ships have sunk in the area. The sub aquatic sites are the cargo Anna II and the Lia Reef at 24 meters deep. Explore a outstanding marine life, a forest of sponges, many fishes species. It is a great diving spot for both non-experienced and advanced divers.

Beaches:
The beaches of Mykonos are diverse from natural one to DJ play and Mojitos. Luminous turquoise water and beach restaurants is the common point of all the beaches.
- Platis Galos: Fishing boats, clear water, great restaurant. It is an affordable, stylish option.
- Paradise Beach: easiest beach to access. With two beach clubs, restaurants with music and coktails after 6pm.
- Psarou Beach: idyllic beach that makes you feel in the Caribbean. Smaller than all others, the bars are displaying DJ set (Nammos Beach Club). Very recommanded to party.
- Agios Stefanos Beach: Close to the town, offering paddle activities, no beach clubs, one typical Greek restaurants heavly recommanded.
- Agia Anna Beach: expect simply a calm day, no big facilities, shops or watersports.
All the beaches can be reached by bus, water-taxi, Quads, scooters and cars.
